What types of tickets can I purchase from the new system?
Day, multi-day or season entry permits private for vehicles are the only permits that can be purchased on-line. All other permits need to be purchased from the Resort Management Office.
Do I have to stop at the Resort Entry Point?
No, however you may be requested to stop by an Authorised officer in the interest of your safety due to adverse road conditions.
How will I get resort information without stopping at the Resort Entry Points?
Our resort services team will be on hand within the village to hand out the same village information & friendly service.
Will there still be people at the “ticket boxes” to sell me a permit?
The old ticket boxes will remain but are now Resort Entry Points and will be staffed during peak periods by Customer Service Officers. Permits are not available for purchase or collection at the Resort Entry Points.
Do I need a permit if I am travelling through the resort?
If you travel directly through the resort from Dinner Plain/Omeo to Harrietville or Harrietville to DinnerPlain/Omeo you will not require a resort entry permit ie. Your resort exit point must differ from your resort entry point. Your entry and exit will be monitored and an appropriate time allowance for road conditions will be allowed for safe travel through the resort.
What if I cannot make it through the resort in the prescribed time?

What happens if I do not buy an entry permit?
The vehicle registration number is recorded on arrival to the resort and on departure from the resort. If that number plate is not matched against a payment a parking infringement notice is sent to the registered owner of the vehicle.
What type of credit cards can I use?
We accept payment by Visa and Mastercard only.
I will be camping, bush walking or back country skiing outside the resort boundary. The vehicle will be parked safely on the side of the road. I will not be using any resort facilities. Do I need to purchase a permit?
If your vehicle will be parked in the resort boundary, a permit is required. The Mount Hotham Resort Management Board recognises the resort entry points as resort boundaries.
I park at Wangaratta Ski Club do I still need resort entry permit?
Yes. Wangaratta Ski Club resides in the Resort boundary and a permit is required.
Why should I give my mobile phone number when registering?
Your mobile phone number is your account number. Providing your mobile number when registering will also allow us to send you significant road conditions updates via SMS and also a handy SMS reminder will be automatically generated on the day your permit expires.
What if I have several vehicles?
By registering your details you can nominate the registration numbers of vehicles that you own. The Alpine Easy Access payment system allows you to register a number of vehicles for use on your profile. For each permit purchased one vehicle is nominated. Vehicle details cannot be changed on an active permit.
I need a Tax Invoice?
A compliant Tax Invoice is emailed to the email account you specify when registering.
What do I do if I wish to stay longer?
Simply access your Alpine Easy Access account to purchase additional days.
